The Houston Astros is a professional baseball team based out of Houston, Texas. They play in the MLB (Major League Baseball) as a member of the American League West division.
The Houston Astros began in 1962 and went by the Houston Colt .45s, yet adapted the Astros name in 1965 on the rise of Houston being the space center hub. Most recently, they won the World Series pennant against the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017.
